Energy Market & PPA Administration

Turning generation into settled, reconciled, audit-ready revenue.

01Overview

Generation is not revenue until it is metered, reconciled and settled. Energy Market & PPA Administration closes that commercial loop — reconciling metered output against curtailment and market signals, administering PPA and offtake obligations, and producing the settlement and compliance evidence owners, lenders and tax-equity investors require.

What we cover

  • Meter-data collection, validation and settlement reconciliation
  • Curtailment tracking, attribution and compensation claims
  • PPA and offtake-agreement obligation management
  • Renewable-certificate (REC/GO) registration and tracking
  • Market-participation administration and imbalance management
  • Lender, tax-equity and regulatory reporting

How we deliver it

  • 01Meter data is validated and reconciled against generation telemetry to catch metering errors and revenue leakage.
  • 02Curtailment events are logged, attributed and pursued for compensation where contracts allow.
  • 03PPA obligations — availability, output, reporting — are tracked so the owner never breaches an offtake covenant unknowingly.
  • 04Settlement and certificate records are maintained to an audit-ready standard for every counterparty.

Operating doctrine

How this is run

Delivered under Renewable Energy Operations's operating doctrine — the standards applied across every capability in the practice.

Governance

Each portfolio runs under an asset-management governance model: a named asset operations manager, monthly performance reviews against the P50/P90 production model, quarterly business reviews with the owner and lenders, and an annual operations plan covering preventive maintenance, vegetation, soiling and major-component strategy. RAID logs and decision registers are maintained for lender and independent-engineer scrutiny.

Reporting & insight

Owners receive a live portfolio dashboard — availability, performance ratio, yield vs budget, energy at risk, and revenue settled — plus a monthly asset report and a board-grade quarterly pack. Every underperformance event carries a root cause, energy-loss quantification and recovery action. Lender and tax-equity reporting packs are produced to the cadence and format their agreements require.

Security & compliance

OT security is treated as critical infrastructure. SCADA and remote-access environments are segmented from corporate IT, access is least-privilege and logged, and we operate to IEC 62443 principles with NERC CIP alignment where applicable. Field devices and remote connections are continuously monitored for anomalous behaviour.

Transition & onboarding

Onboarding a portfolio follows a structured 60–90 day mobilisation: data and telemetry integration, contract and warranty register build, baseline performance model validation, field-partner alignment, and runbook authoring before we assume operational accountability. No asset is taken live until its performance baseline and escalation paths are signed off.

Business continuity

Monitoring and dispatch run 24/7 from geographically redundant operations centres. Weather-event playbooks (storm, wildfire, flood, grid disturbance) govern pre-emptive curtailment, safe-state procedures and rapid post-event return to service. Critical spares strategy and field-partner coverage are mapped to each asset's risk profile.

Scalability

The operating model is asset-agnostic and vendor-agnostic. Adding a site means integrating its telemetry and contracts into the existing model — not standing up a new team. Owners can grow from a single asset to a multi-gigawatt, multi-technology fleet on one operational backbone.
